Ortsbezogene Interventionen in Schleswig-Holstein
Das Kunstprojekt "Eiskeller und Himmelslöcher" macht erstmals das bisher wenig erforschte und weitgehend unerschlossene historische Kulturdenkmal “Eiskeller in Schleswig-Holsteins” zum Gegenstand zeitgenössischer künstlerischer Recherche. Das Ausstellungskonzept begreift diese nahezu vergessene Architekturform als Reflexionsort, an dem sich neuartige Zusammenhänge von Kunst, Natur und Klimawandel erschließen und die historische Kulturtechnik der Eisgewinnung verwandelt ins Bewußtsein tritt.
Das Projekt wird realisiert in Zusammenarbeit mit Till Krause, Ulrike Mohr und Dan Peterman, welche einen konzeptionellen, forschenden Ansatz sowie eine Auseinandersetzung mit dem Ort und seiner Geschichte intendiert.

The Katherine E. Nash Gallery in the Department of Art at the University of Minnesota presents Landscape of the Mind. The exhibition explores the relationships of landscape, imagination and experience in a variety of media.
Each of us inhabits two separate but related landscapes: the physical landscape that surrounds us, and the mental landscape of our own interior environment. The body, memory, culture and history moderate the intersection of these landscapes. The artworks in Landscape of the Mind explore the shape, texture and topography of these spaces and the relationships between them.

Selected by curator Elke Falat to be a resident at LoBe. Founded by Olivia Reynolds, LoBe is project space and gallery in Wedding, Berlin. Collaborating with artist Jon Meyer, we will create artworks that responds to the space, to each other, and to the Berlin context. There will be a gallery opening and dinner middle of June to celebrate the resulting artworks, which will be exhibited for three weeks in June.

In noch nie dagewesenem Maß bestimmen Städte heute unser Leben: Mehr als die Hälfte der Weltbevölkerung lebt in Städten, Städte prägen Kultur und Politik, Städten formen die Beziehungen von Natur, Technologie und dem menschlichen Körper. Dieses Buch versammelt aktuelle internationale Positionen aus der Forschung zu Stadt, Urbanisierung und städtischer Kultur. Formal angelehnt an Benjamin, Kracauer und andere, nähern sich die Essays in kurzen Betrachtungen und Momentaufnahmen aus oft überraschenden Blickwinkeln der überbordenden Thematik – von Berlin bis Los Angeles, von Lagos bis Seoul. Die Bandbreite der behandelten Themen reicht dabei von neuen Formen der politischen Mobilisierung über die Auswirkungen wirtschaftlicher Instabilität bis zur politischen Ökologie der Stadtnatur. Künstlerische Beiträge begleiten die theoretischen Texte mit kritischen Reflexionen des urbanen Wandels. In der Gesamtschau entfaltet sich ein kaleidoskopartiges Bild von Stadt.
