Ulrike Mohr works at the intersection of drawing, space, time, and charcoal. In her installation LICHTUNG, charred wood is condensed into a floating form suspended in space and enveloped in mist. This recurring mist repeatedly dissolves, revealing the spatial drawing beneath. The wood used was collected from residents in and around Lüneburg. Members of the Kunstverein collaborated with the artist to char the wood.
