Ping-pong
ping pong N–S–E–W – Public Art Project, South Korea 2006
Seven artists traveled across South Korea in four trucks, moving west to east along the border between North and South Korea. At stops along the route, the trucks unfolded into interactive spaces featuring table tennis tables – inviting the public to engage, respond, and reflect. The project created a mobile zone of play, encounter, and shifting perspectives – exploring oppositions, thresholds, and connections. Artists (msk7): Mona Babl, Christine Berndt, Won-Yeon Chung, Kati Gausmann, Ricarda Mieth, Ulrike Mohr, Anja Sonnenburg.
