“Rundgang – Tage der offenen Tür”, 11. July, 2021, weißensee academy of art berlin
Each artist was given a one-hour time slot, contributing individually to the evolving artistic process throughout the day.

This WECHSELRAUM took place as part of the exhibition „Schrödingers Katzen“ in Berlin.
The project was also part of the annual, and was open to participation by students from all departments. It was conceived and offered as a teaching format within the academy, inviting interdisciplinary engagement and collaboration. The space, an empty prefabricated building in a state of transition, holds potential for future sustainable artistic production. Through WECHSELRAUM, the project explored this in-between state—highlighting the building’s raw condition while initiating a temporary artistic occupation that points toward its possible futures. For the first time, WECHSELRAUM took place in the open air, expanding its performative space beyond the walls of the exhibition site.
